• Lead enquiry forms (residential & professional): name, mobile number, email (if provided), city, address / locality, property type, water source, product or service of interest, and WhatsApp contact consent.
• Water Assessment Wizard: water source, challenges faced, property type, name, mobile number, and city.
• CSR / partnership enquiries: organization name, contact person name, email, mobile number, organization type, location, water challenge description, preferred timeline, and optional message.
• Technical & usage data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent, referrer URL, and approximate location — collected via cookies and Google Analytics (GA4, ID G-QJCZ9ZBH14).

B. Social Media Channels

• Direct messages & comments: when you message us on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, or WhatsApp Business, we receive your public profile name, handle, and the content of your message.
• Reviews & ratings: publicly posted reviews, star ratings, photos, videos, or testimonials that you submit on our social pages or third-party platforms (e.g. Google Business Profile, Justdial, Sulekha).
• Engagement data: likes, shares, follows, and ad interactions — used only in aggregated, non-identifiable form for audience insights.

C. Physical & Offline Channels

• Site visits & consultations: information shared during on-site water audits, home / facility inspections, or in-person meetings with our engineers and sales representatives.
• Paper forms & printed collateral: details captured on physical enquiry cards, feedback forms at exhibitions, or printed registration sheets at events.
• Voice & telephone: call recordings (where legally permitted and with prior notice), caller ID, and notes from phone conversations with our support or sales teams.
• Post-service feedback: verbal or written testimonials, satisfaction ratings, and referral details shared after installation or maintenance completion.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Service delivery: respond to enquiries, schedule water audits, prepare quotations, execute installations, and provide ongoing maintenance & AMC support.
• Communication: send service updates, maintenance reminders, appointment confirmations, and (with your explicit or implied consent) promotional offers related to water treatment solutions.
• Customer support: troubleshoot issues, process warranty claims, and manage service escalations.
• Product improvement: analyse usage patterns, water-quality data trends, and customer feedback to refine our product lines and service protocols.

3. Testimonials, Reviews & Marketing Use

We take great pride in the trust our customers place in us. When you provide a testimonial, review, rating, photo, video, or any form of feedback — whether through our website, social media, email, WhatsApp, or in writing — you grant India Water Systems and Aqua Sutra Technologies LLP a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, display, and distribute that content for marketing and promotional purposes.

• Where we may use your feedback: our website, social media posts, digital advertisements, brochures, exhibition banners, email newsletters, video testimonials, case-study whitepapers, and press releases.
• Attribution: we may display your first name, last initial, city, and photo alongside your testimonial (e.g. "Ramesh K., Hyderabad"). We will never publish your full mobile number, email address, or complete residential address without explicit written consent.
• Anonymization option: if you prefer your testimonial to be used anonymously, please state so clearly when submitting your feedback, and we will honour that request.
• Withdrawal: you may request removal of your testimonial or review from active marketing materials at any time by writing to hello@indiawatersystems.com. We will remove it from channels under our direct control within 15 working days. Note that content shared by third parties (e.g. Google reviews) may remain subject to those platforms' own policies.

We handle all testimonials and reviews responsibly. We do not fabricate, pay for, or otherwise incentivize fake reviews. Any sponsored or compensated endorsement will be clearly disclosed as per applicable advertising standards.

4. Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only under the following strict circumstances:

• Authorised service partners: installation crews, certified plumbers, and regional service engineers who need your contact and location details to execute scheduled work.
• Operational processors: cloud hosting, analytics (Google Analytics), email delivery, WhatsApp Business API, payment gateways, and customer-relationship tools — all bound by written data-processing agreements.
• Legal & safety: regulatory authorities, law enforcement, or courts when required by applicable Indian law, court order, or to protect our legal rights and the safety of our personnel.
• Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, personal data may be transferred subject to the acquirer honouring the terms of this policy.

5. Cookies, Pixels & Tracking Technologies

• Essential cookies: required for core site functionality such as form submission security and load balancing.
• Analytics cookies: Google Analytics 4 cookies (_ga, _gid) help us understand visitor behaviour, page performance, and referral sources.
• Marketing pixels: we may use Meta (Facebook/Instagram) pixels and LinkedIn insight tags to measure ad effectiveness and build lookalike audiences. These pixels do not capture personally identifiable information unless you explicitly submit a form.

• Active customers & leads: retained for the duration of your relationship with us plus 7 years to meet Indian tax, accounting, and warranty record-keeping obligations.
• Inactive enquiries: if no service engagement materialises, enquiry data is archived after 24 months and securely deleted after 7 years.
• Marketing consents: contact details used for promotional communication are retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.
• Testimonials & reviews: retained indefinitely for portfolio and credibility purposes unless you request removal per Section 3.

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), encrypted-at-rest database storage, role-based access controls, regular security audits, and staff training on data handling. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Rights Under Indian Law

Subject to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable regulations, you have the right to:

• Access and obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
• Request deletion (erasure) of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Withdraw consent for marketing communications and data processing where consent is the lawful basis.
